• All matches will be played in Ahmedabad and only on red/green tennis ball provided by the organizers.
• In a match, each team will get 16 overs to bat. A bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs in a match. Suspected bowling action shall not be acceptable.
• Every team needs to decide a team uniform (preferably t-shirt and track pants). Every player (all 14) needs to be in that uniform. The t-shirt must have team name in the front and player’s name and no. at the back. A dummy t-shirt will be shown to every team for reference.
• The tournament is spread over a period of one month and hence 2 matches shall be held every Saturday & Sunday. The matches are scheduled to start at 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. respectively. The playing teams need to be present at the venue atleast 30 mins before the start of the play. Any delay due to late coming will lead to disqualification and the other team will get the points.
• Extras such as Byes, Leg Byes, Over-throws, Wides and No Balls shall be construed as valid runs and this should not be disputed with the umpires.
• There are no field restrictions.
• The captains of all teams shall ensure that the matches are played with full sportsmanship and shall prevent any sort of indiscipline in the form of smoking / chewing / misbehaviour by his team members during the course of the match.
• Umpires for all the matches shall be appointed by the organizing committee and shall not be deputed from any participating team. The decision given by the Umpires during the match shall be final.
• All rights are reserved by the Organizing Committee and in the event of any disagreement / dispute; the matter shall be referred to them, whose decision shall remain final.
• Change of day and time wouldn’t be entertained.
• Each team needs to bring along 2 (standard size) bats.
• Teams will be provided with drinking water, biscuits and refreshments.
• Team gets on 2 points for a win, 0 for a loss & 1 each on a tie.
• LBW will not be considered to avoid disputes and controversies.
• At the end of the tournament, awards & certificates will be given to winning team, runners-up, best batsman for max runs and best bowler for max wickets.
• If at any level, 2 or more teams end up with the same points after first round their Net Run Rates will be considered.
Formula for calculating NRR
NRR = Team’s RR – Opposition’s RR.
[ If a team gets all out after scoring 50 from 5 overs, their RR will not be 10 but will be 3.125 (=50/16). But if a team is chasing a total of 49 and it reaches 50 in 5 overs their RR will be 10. ]
• NRR upto 2 decimal places will be considered.

[ If a team gets all out after scoring 50 from 5 overs, their RR will not be 10 but will be 3.125 (=50/16). But if a team is chasing a total of 49 and it reaches 50 in 5 overs their RR will be 10. ]
• NRR upto 2 decimal places will be considered.
• If NRR is also equal, the team who lost lesser wickets will qualify.
• If this value is also equal, the team taking more wickets will qualify.
• If the teams are at a tie after this, there will be a re-match.
• The day and time of the re-match will be decided and conveyed to the concerned people.
